Meet Alan Lerner

My name is Alan Lerner. I was born and raised on Staten Island’s South Shore, with much of my adult life spent in Brooklyn and Manhattan. My wife and I moved here to start our family, and it’s been one of the best decisions we've ever made—we truly feel like we hit the jackpot with this town and its people. I’m a proud father to a nearly 8-year-old daughter, an active member of the Allen Roberts Elementary School PTA, and a volunteer in local schools and recreation programs, including coaching girls’ softball. I come from a family of public servants and professionals—my mother was a NYC public school teacher for 40 years, my father a CPA, my sister is a city attorney, and my twin brother is an activist and podcast host. I’m a third-generation Jewish, Ukrainian, and Polish immigrant, and my wife, a brilliant embryologist and first-generation Ukrainian immigrant, helps families achieve their dreams of parenthood. My background in small business and real estate, along with my deep-rooted commitment to community and family, has shaped my drive to serve and give back.
